Common Dental Emergencies
Missing Tooth
A knocked-out tooth is a critical emergency. To maximize the chance of saving the tooth, it must be replanted or stored in milk and seen by a dentist within one hour.
Chipped or Broken Tooth
Whether from an injury or biting down on something hard, a fractured tooth requires swift assessment to prevent further damage or nerve exposure.
Severe Toothache
Persistent, throbbing pain is often a sign of deep decay or internal infection. Immediate diagnosis allows us to provide pain relief and treat the cause.
Broken Crown/Bridge
If your crown or bridge has become loose, broken, or has fallen out, please stay calm. We prioritize re-cementing or repairing your restoration quickly to protect the underlying tooth and restore your comfort and confidence.
Dental Infections or Swelling
Swelling in the gums or face usually indicates an abscess or sharp infection. This requires immediate intervention to prevent the infection from spreading.

What to do in an Emergency
01
Knocked Out Tooth
Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently with water and, if possible, place it back in the socket or keep it submerged in cold milk.
02
Chipped or Broken
Rinse your mouth with warm water and save any fragments. Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek to reduce swelling immediately.
03
Severe Pain
Rinse with warm salt water and gently floss to clear potential debris. Do not place aspirin on the gums, as this can cause painful burns.
04
Dental Infections
If you notice swelling or a gum abscess, rinse with salt water several times a day and contact us immediately for professional assessment.
